DownTownSounds’ very own ‘Mr.Big’ (6 ft 8!) came to us relatively late in the game, having been alerted to the fact that we were kindred musical spirits via a shared love of DFA-style punk-funk and the space-disco stylings of Lindstrom and Prins Thomas.
He absolutely smashed the back doors in whenever he played, bringing the meticulousness required for his day-job as a genetic scientist to the turntables, while never letting the party atmosphere flag for a split second…
